ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Susquehanna men's and women's tennis teams split their matches against Lebanon Valley with the men winning 7-2 and the women dropping a 7-2 decision.

The SU men swept all three doubles matches. Ben Ornstein and Ryan Seibert won 9-8 at first doubles with Nick Meale and Alex Cocolas winning 8-6 at second doubles. Alex Dove and Ashton Collins picked up an 8-4 win at third doubles.

Ornstein lost 3-6, 4-6 at first singles and Seibert dropped consecutive 4-6 decisions at second singles. However, the Crusaders swept the remaining singles matches. Meale won 6-1, 1-6, 6-3 at third singles and Cocolas won in straight sets (6-0, 6-2) at fourth singles.

Dove and Collins also won in straight sets with Dove winning 6-2, 6-2 at number five singles and Collins going 6-1, 6-3 at sixth singles.

The women, meanwhile, picked up one win in doubles action when Kelly Furlong and Eliza Griffin captured an 8-6 win at second doubles.

SU's second win came at third singles where Allison Lobell won 6-5, 6-4.

The teams return to action on Oct. 6 at Penn College.
