2015-16 Football, Winter Sports Roundup

Box Score

While Susquehanna is in the midst of its winter season with critical conference games on the horizon, the fall season ended on a high note for the football program. The team finished with five victories under first-year head coach Tom Perkovich, a three-win improvement from 2014. The team also captured both rivalry game trophies for the first time in the same season since 2000 with wins over Lycoming and Juniata colleges.

The men's basketball program, meanwhile, is off to a historic start. Susquehanna began the season with a 12-0 record and earned a No. 11 ranking in the Jan. 12 D3Hoops.com national poll. The team remains undefeated in Landmark Conference play as of Jan. 9 and has defeated three teams that were ranked at the time of each game: The Catholic University of America, Trinity College and The University of Scranton.

The women's basketball team is also putting together a strong start to its 2015-16 campaign. Susquehanna went 8-2 through its first 10 games of the season with a 5-1 home record. In addition, Susquehanna won its annual Pepsi Tip-Off Tournament for the second-straight year and boasts one of the conference's leading scorers in sophomore Angie Schedler, the 2014-15 Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year.

Finally, in October the women's swimming & diving program embarked on its journey to capture an unprecedented sixth-straight Landmark Conference title. The team had just one Landmark Conference meet prior to winter break but it came in the form of a 137-125 home win over The Catholic University of America.
