HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's tennis team traveled to Juniata College for a Landmark Conference match Wednesday and lost 7-2.

Both of SU's points came in singles action when Linsey Sipple defeated her opponent 1-6, 7-6 (8-6), 10-7 in the number two singles position and Julia Spear won her number six singles match 6-3, 6-3.

Alyssa Fleischman was defeated in the number one singles position 6-2, 6-0 while Megan Rudloff lost 6-0, 6-2 in the number three position. Eliza Griffin and Allison Lobell were defeated 6-2, 6-3 and 6-1, 6-1 in the numbers four and five singles positions, respectively.

Susquehanna started the day down 3-0 as they lost number one doubles (Fleischman/Lobell) 8-2, number two doubles (Sipple/Griffin) 8-1 and number three doubles (Rudloff/Abagail Ransom) 8-0.

The Crusaders return home on Saturday, April 16 when the team hosts Landmark Conference rival Moravian college at 1:00 p.m.
