SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Moravian College at home Saturday afternoon.

The Crusaders won their only point of the day when the number two doubles team of Allison Lobell and Linsey Sipple defeated their opponents 8-2. Alyssa Fleischman and Abagail Ransom at number one doubles were defeated 8-2 while Eliza Griffin and Megan Rudloff lost 8-3 in the number three doubles position.

In singles action, Fleischman and Rudloff were defeated in the number one and two singles positions 6-2, 6-2 and 7-6, 6-2, respectively. Griffin was defeated 6-1, 6-1 at number three singles while Lobell lost 6-1, 6-2 at number four. Julia Spear played in the number five singles position and lost 6-2, 6-2 while Cassey Fox, at number six, was defeated 6-7, 6-2, 10-2.

 The Crusaders remain at home on Sunday, April 17 when the team celebrates Senior Day with a match against Drew University. The match starts at 1:00 p.m.
