THE STORY: The Susquehanna men's tennis team defeated Misericordia 9-0 Wednesday afternoon.

THE RECORD: The River Hawks improve to 2-0 on the season.

AFTER DOUBLES: At the completion of doubles, the River Hawks were leading 3-0. Ben Ornstein and Ryan Seibert defeated their opponents 8-1 at number one doubles while Alexander Cocolas and Alexander Dove won 8-2 in the number two spot. At number three doubles, Nicholas Meale and Austin Gow defeated their opponents 8-3.

SINGLES ACTION: Singles action saw Susquehanna dispatching their opponents in straight sets. Ornstein won 6-3, 8-6 at number one singles while Dove and Cocolas won 6-0, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 in the number two and three singles positions. Seibert and Meale won at number four (6-0, 6-0) and five (6-0, 6-0) singles, respectively while Gow defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-2 in the number six singles position.

WHAT'S NEXT? The River Hawks return to action on Saturday, September 24 when the team travels to Hood for a 1:00 p.m. match.
