QUICK STORY:  The Susquehanna men's tennis team traveled to Alvernia University and lost 5-4 on Tuesday afternoon.

RECORDS: Susquehanna drops to 4-1 while Alvernia improves to 3-1.

RIVER HAWKS' POINTS: The River Hawks scored one point in doubles when Alexander Dove and Nicholas Meale defeated their opponents 8-3 at number two doubles.

Dove, Ryan Seibert and Meale all scored points in singles action. Dove defeated Colin MacCloskey 7-5, 6-3 at the number two singles position. Seibert won 6-0, 6-0 over Addison Hanna in the number three spot while Meale took on Reid Hoff at number four singles and won 6-3, 6-1.

ALVERNIA POINTS: Ben Ornstein was defeated 6-0, 6-1 at number one singles while Ashton Collins lost 7-6(7-4), 6-4 in the number five singles position and Taylor Swim dropped his match 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 at number six singles.

Ornstein and Seibert were defeated 8-3 at number one doubles while Collins and Austin Gow lost 8-4 in the number three spot.

WHAT's NEXT? The River Hawks return to action when the team hosts Penn College of Technology on Saturday, October 1 at 1:00 p.m.
