Box Score Senior Ryan Cronin scored the game winning goal for the Susquehanna University Men's Soccer team to earn the fourth and final spot in the Landmark Conference Tournament with a 1-0 win over Moravian College on Saturday afternoon at Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.
With Susquehanna's (6-9-2 overall, 3-3-1 Landmark Conference) win over Moravian (8-5-4, 2-3-2) the River Hawks claimed fourth place in the Landmark Conference standing, sending the River Hawks to playoffs.
Dakota Dobrovich-Fago crossed a long ball to Cronin who was able to take a shot inside the box, catching the Greyhounds keeper off guard in the 75th minute of play.
The River Hawks were outshot 13 to 4 in the first half, Susquehanna then turned around after halftime and outshot the Greyhounds 9 to 4.
Freshman goalkeeper, Casey Hoover earned a huge shutout win for his third of the season. Hoover made seven saves in the game.
The River Hawks will face top seeded Drew at 7 p.m. Wednesday at top-seeded Drew University.
