Hunter Pitman scored three goals and Jordan Burkepile scored one as the Susquehanna University Field Hockey team finished the 2017 season with a 4-0 win over Moravian on Saturday afternoon at John Makuvek Field in Bethlehem, Pa. 

Susquehanna (9-8 overall, 3-4 Landmark Conference) ended its season on a high note with its win over Moravian (2-16, 1-6).

Pitman scored her first goal 25 minutes into play off a pass from Gabby Martin. Her second goal came just four minutes later when she blasted a shot from the left side of the circle.

Pitman's third goal came less than 15 minutes into the second half off a penalty corner that found Julia Hasircolgu. Hasircoglu fed Pitman who shot past the Greyhounds goalie from the left side.

Senior, Jordan Burkepile recorded her first goal of the season off an assist from Stephanie Sachs.

Senior, Courtney Purnell recorded her final win of her career with two saves in the game. Susquehanna outshot Moravian 27 to 4.

The River Hawks ends their season at 9-8, the third consecutive winning season for Susquehanna.
