Box Score Senior Linsey Sipple won a 6-4, 7-6 decision at No. 1 singles and teamed with Abigail Ransom for an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles for the Susquehanna University Women's Tennis team but Lebanon Valley won four of the five singles matches and two doubles matches for a 6-3 win Friday afternoon at the Shankroff Tennis Center in Annville.
Sipple and Ransom started the match off with their win at No. 1 doubles but Lebanon Valley took 8-2 decisions at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take a 2-1 lead into the singles matches.
Sipple tied the score with her victory at No. 1 singles before Lebanon Valley won matches at No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 to clinch the team victory.
Freshman Christina Rudderow won a 7-6, 6-3 decision for the River Hawks at No. 6 singles to round out the scoring for Susquehanna.
The River Hawks wrap up the fall season Sunday with a non-conference match against Penn State Harrisburg at the James Garrett Center Courts in Selinsgrove.
