Box Score Alexander Dove and Alexander Cocolas each won singles matches and also teamed up for a No. 1 doubles victory while Ryan Seibert also posted a pair of wins as the Susquehanna University Men's Tennis team finished the fall schedule with a 5-4 victory over Penn State Harrisburg Sunday afternoon on the Garrett Center Courts in Selinsgrove.
Dove was a 6-0, 6-3 winner at No. 1 singles and Cocolas won his singles match at the No. 2 position with a 6-0, 6-3 victory. The tandem wrapped up an undefeated doubles season with an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles as the duo finished the fall with a 5-0 doubles mark.
Seibert won his singles match at the No. 3 spot with a 6-2, 6-2 win and also teamed with Taylor Swim for an 8-5 win at No.2 doubles.
The wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles gave the River Hawks (5-1) an early 2-1 lead in the match as Penn State Harrisburg scored an 8-1 decision at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Susquehanna won the No. 1 and No. 3 matches to go up 4-2 and Cocolas clinched the match with his victory at No. 2 singles with the fifth win for the River Hawks.
Penn State posted wins at No. 4, 5, and 6 singles.
