Helena Woytovich scored all three of her goals in the second half as the Susquehanna University Women's Lacrosse team outscored Concordia (Wisconsin) 8-1 in the period leading to a convincing 14-3 win in a neutral site game Wednesday at Sewanee University in Tennessee.

Susquehanna (3-2) scored the first three goals of the game and held a 6-2 lead at the halftime intermission. Kathrina DeMaio, Brooke Klair and Caroline Rabiecki each scored in the first 10 minutes of the game to give the River Hawks an early lead.

Ashley Rose Lynn scored at the 15:51 mark before Rabiecki and DeMaio each scored their second goals of the game near the end of the half to extend the Susquehanna lead.

In the second half, DeMaio scored her third goal of the game just 33 seconds into the period before Woytovich scored her first of three goals Liv Cohn added a free-position goal and Woytovich scored on a man-up situation building the Susquehanna lead to 10-2 less than five minutes into the half.

After Concordia (1-3) scored its only goal of the period, Kaitlin Homberg and Stephanie Dowling each scored and Woytovich tallied her third of the game within a span of six minutes as the River Hawks built a double-digit lead for running time for the remainder of the game.

Dowling scored her second goal of the game with less than four minutes left to cap the scoring.

Libby Dex played the entire game and made four saves in the Susquehanna goal.

The River Hawks will play Sewanee at noon Friday before heading home from the Spring Training trip.
