Senior Linsey Sipple scored a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles and teamed with freshman Christina Rudderow for an 8-1 win at  No. 1 doubles as the Susquehanna University Women's Tennis team posted a 9-0 shutout victory over Penn College of Technology Thursday afternoon in Williamsport.

Cassey Fox won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and was paired with Abagail Ransom at No. 2 doubles and the pair scored an 8-0 win for Susquehanna (1-0). Rudderow added a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and Laura Long won a 6-3, 6-0 decision in the No. 4 singles position.

Long and Kallie Honstine combined for an 8-0 vicotry at No. 3 doubls and Honstine added a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles. Nicole Britzenhoff completed the sweep with her 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.

The River Hawks compete next at 1 p.m. Sunday at Lebanon Valley.
