Seniors Steven Jumper and Connor White each tied for ninth overall with a 14 over par 85 Saturday and helped the Susquehanna University Men's Golf team to a fourth place team finish at the Landmark Conference Fall Invitational at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic.
The event is a preview of the Landmark Conference Championship Tournament that will also be played at Glenmaura in the spring.
Jumper and White finished in a pack of five golfers all at +14 on the day within three shots of a top-five finish.
Moravian won the team title with a +35 319 score followed by Scranton (+42), Goucher (+62) and Susquehanna (+67, 351). Elizabethtown (+96) and Juniata (+107) rounded out the team scoring.
Freshman Chris Bouchard carded the third best River Hawks score with a +19 in 15th place overall while junior Brendan Baloh finished tied for 16th with a 91 (+20) and Alex Wager rounded out the Susquehanna scoring tied for 24th with a 97 (+26).
The golfers will compete next at the Gettysburg Invitational October 4.
