Alexander Cocolas led a group of five players for the Susquehanna University Men's Tennis team to victories in singles play Saturday afternoon as the River Hawks defeated Alvernia University 7-2 in a non-conference match on the James Garrett Center Courts in Selinsgrove.

Cocolas won a 6-3, 6-1 decision at No. 2 singles while Ryan Seibert was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at No. 3, Ian Reish was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at No. 4, Jacob Mouery was a 6-0, 6-2 winner at No. 5 and Garrett Deyle won at No. 6 singles 6-1, 7-6 (3).

The River Hawks also posted a pair of wins in doubles action as the team of Alexander Dove and Cocolas won 8-0 at No. 2 doubles and Deyle and Taylor Swim posted an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles.

Susquehanna (4-0) will face Lebanon Valley Sunday in a 1 p.m. match.
