Junior Katie Willis set a pair of pool records, including one record twice, as she led the Susquehanna University Women's Swimming and Diving team in the final home meet of the season Friday night against Bloomsburg University in the James Garrett Sports Center Pool in Selinsgrove.
Bloomsburg posted a win in the final team score with a 136-84 victory.
Willis set the pool record in the 50-yard freestyle with a winning time of 24.66 and then set a new pool mark in the 100-yard freestyle as she clocked a 53.16 to win the event. On the final race of the night, Willis opened the 200-yard freestyle relay with a 50-yard leg in a time of 24.57 to break the 50-yard time set earlier in the night.
The relay that also included Tori Weems, Morgan O'Hara and Joann Butkus was second with a combined time of 1:41.73.
Krista White scored first place points for the River Hawks with a strong finish in the 1-meter diving competition as she won with a score of 198.35. Teammate Isabella San Miguel was second in the event with a final score of 167.55.
Maggie Palaski was a second place finisher in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.18, Megan Shaffer was second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.77 and Abby Condon was second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:31.79.
The River Hawks are back in action Saturday afternoon with a trip to Goucher College for a 1 p.m. meet with the Gophers.
