Seth Callahan scored 14 points and Zach Knecht came off the bench to score a team-leading 15 points for the Susquehanna University Men's Basketball team but a pair of runs early in the second half for Moravian College gave the Greyhounds an 88-72 victory Saturday afternoon in a Landmark Conference game in O.W. Houts Gymnasium in Selinsgrove.

Susquehanna (6-12 Overall, 3-5 Landmark) led by as many as nine points in the first half but a late Moravian (13-6, 5-3) run trimmed the lead down to a point at 41-40 as the first half ended.

The teams traded baskets early in the second half with Callahan sinking a jumper but the Greyhounds went on a 9-2 run to take the lead. Three minutes later, Moravian took off on another run with an 8-0 spurt to take an 11-point edge at 60-49. The Greyhounds maintained the double-digit lead for the remainder of the game to post the 88-72 win.

Knecht was 6-for-10 from the field and Callahan was 5-for-9 including 2-for-3 from 3-point range. Jacob Walsh finished with nine points and a team-leading 11 rebounds while Bryce Butler added seven assists for the River Hawks. Tyler Hoagland and Callahan had three steal each.

It was the first win for Moravian in Selinsgrove since 2011 and extended a streak of four straight wins over the River Hawks dating back to last season.

Susquehanna hit the road for four consecutive games starting with a Wednesday night matchup at 7 p.m. Juniata in Huntingdon.
