Hayley Adams all scored a goal as the Susquehanna University Field Hockey team scored three goals in the second half in a 4-1 victory over Drew University Saturday afternoon at Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.

The River Hawks (9-8 Overall, 4-3 Landmark) came out firing early as Pitman hit the post in the 7
th minute of action.

She got the team on the score sheet in the 12
th minute before Drew (2-15, 0-7) scored to tie the game at one.

The remainder of the half continued without a goal despite a 17 to 1 shooting advantage for Susquehanna.

With a Landmark Conference playoff spot on the line, the team made several halftime adjustments and scored three times to come away victorious.

Susquehanna took the lead in the 42
nd minute on a goal by Sabbak to give the River Hawks the lead for good. The goal marks Sabbak's sixth straight game with a goal.

Simone added to the lead in the 53
rd minute on a penalty stroke and Adams cemented the victory with a goal of her own.

The win signifies another Landmark Conference playoff appearance for Field Hockey as the team clinched third place in the conference with the win. Susquehanna controlled its own destiny and was able to take care of business without depending on the result between Juniata and Scranton.

The River Hawks will take on Elizabethtown in the opening round of the Landmark Conference playoffs Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Elizabethtown.
