Box Score

Adam Dizbon, Seth Callahan and Bryce Butler each scored 13 points as seven players scored in double-figures for the Susquehanna University Men's Basketball team Saturday afternoon as the River Hawks capped the 2017-18 season with a 94-74 victory over Elizabethtown College in a Landmark Conference game in OW Houts Gymnasium in Selinsgrove.

Susquehanna (10-14 overall, 7-7 Landmark) also had double-figures scoring from Ryan Traub who scored 12 and Zach Knecht, Jacob Walsh and Glen Nanius who all scored 10 points for the River Hawks.

Elizabethtown (5-19, 2-12) had 72 of its 74 points come from the five starters as the Susquehanna bench outscored the Blue Jays 40-2 on the day.

The lead for Susquehanna was just two at halftime and the River Hawks took a 37-35 lead into the break with a Dizbon layup late in the first period.

Callahan sparked a 12-2 run early in the second half with a pair of 3-pointers and a jumper to give Susquehanna a 14-point edge at 61-47 with 12:25 left. Later in the half, Callahan, Butler and Tyler Hoagland all hit 3-pointers to extend the River Hawks lead 16 points with less than four minutes remaining and Susquehanna cruised to the win.

The balanced scoring was also felt on the boards as Knecht and Walsh each led the team with five rebounds each while Hoagland, Butler and Nanius had four rebounds each. Hoagland also finished with 11 assists as the junior moved into sixth place on the career assists list with 371.

The game also marked the final career game for four seniors as Traub, Nanius and Dizbon all played their final games and team manager Akshay Kripalani finished his career as manager for the basketball team.
