After Goucher College won all three doubles matches, the Susquehanna University Women's Tennis team took two of the first three singles matches but dropped a 7-2 decision to the Gophers Saturday afternoon on the Garrett Center courts in Selinsgrove.

Linsey Sipple won a close first set 7-5 at No. 1 singles and then took a 6-2 win in the second set to close out the victory in the first singles match.

Abagail Ransom rallied after dropping a 6-2 decision in the first set to win a 7-5 second set and closed out the victory with a 6-4 third-set win at No. 3 singles.

Ransom and Christina Rudderow were involved in the closest of the doubles matches for the River Hawks as the duo dropped an 8-6 decision at No. 1 doubles.

Susquehanna will next compete Saturday, April 7 at 1 p.m. at Elizabethtown College.
