Box Score Caroline Rabiecki scored six times and Gabi Toohey added five goals as the Susquehanna University Women's Lacrosse team cruised to a 20-5 victory over Goucher College Saturday afternoon in a Landmark Conference game on Beldon Field in Towson, Maryland.
Susquehanna (3-6 overall, 1-3) scored the first six goals of the game in the first 10 minutes of action. Rabiecki had four goals in the stretch and Toohey added a pair for the River Hawks.
Goucher (1-11, 1-3) stopped the run with a pair of goals and the teams traded a pair of goals each over the next minute in back-and-forth action before Brooke Klair and Rabiecki each scored at the end of the half to give the River Hawks an 11-4 edge at the intermission.
Susquehanna scored every goal in the second half and the River Hawks forced running time for the final 19 minutes of the contest.
Rabiecki had seven points on six goals and an assist and Stephanie Dowling also recorded seven points with three goals and four assists. Toohey finished with six points on five goals while Nikki Hauck and Klair each had a pair of goals.
Klair had 10 draw controls and Brooke Burnett recorded three caused turnovers. Libby Dex was credited with eight saves in the Susquehanna goal as she eclipsed the 200 career save milestone in the win.
The River Hawks continue Landmark Conference play Wednesday afternoon with a 5 p.m. game at Juniata.
