Amy Jennings had the closest match of the day for the Susquehanna University Women's Tennis team as the River Hawks dropped a 9-0 decision to Catholic University Saturday afternoon in Washington DC.

Jennings dropped a three-set decision at No. 6 singles for the River Hawks as she fell in the opening set 7-5 but rebounded for a 6-3 win in the second set before falling 10-5 in the third set tie-breaker.

Catholic won all three doubles to take the early lead and posted straight sets wins in each of the first five singles matches.

The River Hawks will battle Juniata Wednesday afternoon in a 3 p.m. Landmark Conference match at Huntingdon.
