Chris Bouchard shot a team low 86 while Brandon Cassidy and Rob Johnson followed closely with a pair of 87's as the Susquehanna University Men's Golf team came in 11th place Tuesday afternoon in the Gettysburg Spring Invitational at The Hanover Country Club in Abbottstown.
Morgan Fisher and Logan Kern rounded out the top five finishers as they each shot 91 for Susquehanna on the 6,518 yard Par 71 course.
The River Hawks were one of 15 teams competing on the day, with host Gettysburg winning the team title with a score of 311 and finished four strokes clear of Lebanon Valley and McDaniel who tied for second. Dickinson and Stevenson finished tied for third with a score of 321, followed by Eastern (325), Alvernia (329), Messiah (332), Penn State Altoona (342), Hood (349), Susquehanna (351), Elizabethtown (359), Juniata (389), Wilson (411), and Lycoming (433).
Danny Harcourt of Gettysburg was the top individual winner who shot a two-over 73.
Susquehanna continues tournament play when the River Hawks compete at the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational on Sunday, April 22nd and Monday, April 23rd.
