Box Score The Susquehanna University Men's Tennis team completed the regular season Saturday afternoon with a rain-shortened 5-1 victory over Penn State Altoona on the Garrett Center Courts in Selinsgrove.
Ben Ornstein, Alexander Dove, Alexander Cocolas and Ryan Siebert each won singles matches at numbers 1-4 resectively to give the River Hawks a 4-0 lead.
Penn State won at No. 5 singles before Austin Gow won a 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 victory at No. 6 singles to complete the scoring in the singles matches with Susquehanna holding a 65-1 edge.
Soon after the doubles matches started, the rain started and became heavy enough to suspend play. Since the River Hawks had already clinched the team victory with their fifth win, the match was called.
Susquehanna will next play in the Landmark Conference Tournament with a Wednesday semifinal match at Goucher. The championship match will be played Saturday at the site of the highest remaining seed.
