Chris Bouchard finished in a tie for third place with an 18-over par 160 to lead the Susquehanna University Men's Golf team to a fourth place finish Sunday in the first Landmark Conference Men's Golf Championship Tournament at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic.
The tournament, hosted by Scranton University, in is its first season in the landmark Conference.
Goucher College won the team title by three strokes over Scranton. Moravian was third with a +95 and Susquehanna was fourth with a team score of +123. Elizabethtown was close behind with a +125 while Drew (+169) and Juniata (+169) rounded out the team scoring.
Two golfers from Scranton had the two lowest scores for the two-day tournament on the 6,308 yard, par 71 course. Bouchard and Steph Lee from Goucher tied for third with each shooting 160. Bouchard had a 79 on his first round and an 81 on Sunday. The 81 was the third-lowest score of the day.
Rob Johnson was next for Susquehanna as he finished in 20th position with a +32, 174 and Logan Kern was just a stroke back at +33, 175. Brandon Cassidy was 27th with a +40, 182 and Morgan Fisher rounded out the Susquehanna golfers with a +56, 198.
