Noah Carles scored a goal early in the second half and the defense held the Greyhounds scoreless in the first half but the Susquehanna University Men's Soccer team was defeated by Landmark Conference foe Moravian College 3-1 after a trio of second half goals Saturday afternoon in Bethlehem.
The River Hawks (1-6-2) relinquished only two shots in the first half, as neither team put the ball in the net over the opening 45 minutes of play.
Carles was able to put the team on the board in the 50
th minute on an unassisted goal.
The Greyhounds (5-2-2) bounced back and scored in the 57
th minute off a volley from a throw in to equalize the score.
Less than two minutes later, Moravian scored to take the lead when a shot deflected off a River Hawk defender into the goal.
The score remained at 2-1 until the final minutes of the game when the Greyhounds scored once more to seal the victory.
Despite the loss, Susquehanna held a 5-3 advantage with corner kicks.

Tristan Barquin and Carles lead the team with two shots apiece.
Matt Ellingworth had four saves, all which came in the second half.
The River Hawks continue play Wednesday when the team takes on Penn State Harrisburg at 3 p.m. in Middletown.
