Box Score SCRANTON, Pa. – The Susquehanna University volleyball team beat the Royals of the University of Scranton Wednesday night, on their home court, in Landmark Conference play.

How It Happened
- The River Hawks (22-3) were able to combine for 42 kills to Scranton's (12-11) 27, to claim a 3-0 victory.
- In the first set, Susquehanna dominated the Royals in the 25-17 set victory. The River Hawks recorded 16 kills and .405 attack percentage.
- SU again took set two 25-17 as they tallied 13 kills to Scranton's eight.
- Scranton was able to tie the set once during the third set, but it was the River Hawks that came out on top with the 25-19 victory to win the match 3-0.
Inside the Box Score
- Rosina Esposito (Coraopolis, Pa./Montour) led the match in kills with 11 while teammate Sydney Portale (Glen Mils, Pa./Garnet Valley) wasn't far behind with nine.
- Junior libero Lizzie Herestofa (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) lead the defense with 18 digs while Lindsey Pugh (Bear, DE. / Caravel Academy) was also in double digits with 11.
- Veronica Kirchner (Drexel Hill, Pa. / Monsignor Bonner-Prendergast) had a match-high five blocks assists.
- Scranton's leaders were Carah Vitkus and Jillian Graham with 10 kills each, Molly Dunfee with 13 digs and Graham with four block assists.
