MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Sophomore forward
Anna Werner (Mohnton, Pa./Gov. Mifflin) continued her fantastic second-year campaign with two more goals Wednesday night as the Susquehanna University women's soccer team (12-3-1) posted a 4-2 non-conference road win over Penn State Harrisburg (7-9-1). The River Hawks have now won three straight.

How It Happened
- Susquehanna fired off four unanswered goals with two in each half to lock up the win with 19 minutes left in regulation.
- Junior forward Kate Ross (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) started the scoring for the River Hawks with her fourth of the season at 6:01.
- Werner notched her first of two on the afternoon in the 34th minute to give SU a 2-0 halftime advantage.
- Werner struck again just over seven minutes into the second half as she converted her third penalty kick of the season. She is now 3-for-3 on PKs this year.
- Sophomore defender Marley Clendenin (Bethesda, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase) secured a 4-0 lead for the River Hawks at 71:04 with her first tally of the season off an assist by senior captain Jenny Charles (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area).
- Sheila Ansary helped Penn State Harrisburg avoid the shutout in the 75th minute with her first score of the season.
- The Lions came within 4-2 in the 79th minute when Rhyan Socash finished off a pass from Madison Hemler for her fourth of the season.
- In the final 11 minutes of the game, Susquehanna earned two corner kicks while Harrisburg put up two shots which were denied by sophomore Chloe Wieczkowski (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown Regional).

- Junior captain Madi Welliver (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) made one save in her 59 minutes of action while Wieczkowski had two stops and gave up both goals in the final 31 minutes.
- Hannah Williams finished with seven saves, including six in the first half, in the Lions' third loss in a row.
