How It Happened
- Hunter Pitman (White Haven, Pa./Crestwood) found the back of the cage first off an assist from Kelsey Murray (Woodbine, Md. / Howard). Pitman took a hard hit from the end line, the ball going over the goalie's head to put the River Hawks up 1-0 in the third quarter.
- Sophomore forward Kelsey Murray was the next goal scorer for SU off a pass from Vivian Simone (Belvidere, Nj. / Notre Dame) after a scramble in front of the cage.
- Katie Koch (West Milton, Pa. / Lewisburg Area) was the final goal scorer for the River Hawks with just over 10 minutes left to play. Koch scored off an assist from Annalee Smith (Flanders, Nj. / Mount Olive) after the team forced a penalty corner.
- Senior goalie Veronice Green (Slatington, Pa. / Northern Lehigh) had an impression seven saves in the contest.
