Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ELIZABEHTOWN, Pa. – The Susquehanna University volleyball team picked up two wins against Goucher and Elizabethtown in the tri-match Saturday. With the wins, the River Hawks are now 2-0 in Conference Play.

How It Happened

• The River Hawks (18-3) took down Goucher College (9-8) for a 3-0 victory.
• In the first set, Susquehanna dominated the Gophers 25-12, putting up 13 kills and a .522 attack percentage.
• SU was able to take set two 25-21, with 13 kills to the Gophers 11.
• The River Hawks took set here 25-15, with 18 kills and a .400 attack percentage to win the match.

• First-year Rosina Esposito (Coraopolis, Pa./Montour) lead the match in kills with 16 while Sydney Portale (Glen Mils, Pa./Garnet Valley) was also in double digits with 13.  
• Lizzie Herestofa (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) lead the match in digs with 10.
• Goucher's leaders were Bianca Brown with seven kills and Cat Hartley with eight digs.

How It Happened

• The River Hawks claimed the 3-0 against the Elizabethtown Blue Jays in match two.  
• Susquehanna took the first set the first set 25-16, recording 13 kills to the Blue Jays seven.
• The River Hawks dominated set two 25-12 scoring on 11 kills to Elizabethtown's three.
• Elizabethtown posed a threat in the third set, but it was the River Hawks that were victorious with a 25-22 set victory.

 
Inside the Box Score

• Esposito again led the team in kills with 15 while Portale had nine.
• Herestofa collected a team-best 18 digs and four service aces.
• Veronica Kirchner (Drexel Hill, Pa. / Monsignor Bonner-Prendergast) had a team best seven blocks.  
• Bryanna Miller lead Hunter in kills with eight while Aiyana Tietze-DiToro recorded a team-best 16 digs.
