Erin McQuillen (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) and
Sadie Comfort (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville) paced the Susquehanna University women's basketball team Wednesday night in Landmark Conference action against Drew University. Susquehanna (6-15, 3-8 LC) fell short to the Rangers (13-8, 6-5 LC), 67-50, as the two sides each won on the road to split the season series.

How It Happened
- It was a slow start for the River Hawks in the first quarter, shooting only 14.3-percent from the field, as Drew took the first 10 minutes, 11-5.
- The Rangers widened their lead to eight in the first minute of the second period before a Comfort triple and back-to-back layups by sophomore Madi Welliver (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) cut the deficit to 15-14 with 7:28 remaining in the half. Three-pointers by Hailey Stine and Julia Ramos sparked a 10-2 run to send DU into the locker room with a 25-16 halftime lead.
- Susquehanna's offense continued to be on the up-and-up in the third frame as the River Hawks shot an impressive 53.8-percent from the floor to hang with Drew, pulling within four at 6:51 on a Comfort trey. SU stayed within five points on four different occasions before the Rangers rebuilt a nine-point lead.
- After DU extended its lead to 14 in the first minute of the fourth, five straight points by McQuillen closed the gap to 49-40 at 8:24. However, the River Hawks would get no closer as Drew opened up a double-digit margin the rest of the way.

- Susquehanna posted a 36.0-field goal percentage for the game with six three-pointers while the Rangers connected on 46.9-percent of their shots, including 10-of-17 from downtown.
- Drew notched a 35-27 rebounding margin and picked 11 pockets.
- McQuillen scored 13 of her 17 points in the second half as she finished 5-of-13 from the field and went 6-of-6 at the free throw line. She also had a game-best four assists plus two steals.
- Comfort ended the night with a dozen behind four triples while Welliver grabbed a game-high nine rebounds to go with nine points.
- Julia Ramos poured in a game-best 33 points on 10-of-22 shooting with six three-pointers to lead the Rangers to their second straight win.
