Box Score Orlando, Fla. – The Susquehanna University men's tennis team rebounded from their first loss of the season with a strong win Friday night in their final match of their Spring Break trip. Susquehanna (8-1) picked up a 7-2 non-conference win over Lawrence University (5-5) at the USTA National Campus.

How It Happened
Doubles

• Lawrence claimed the first point of the match with an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles.
• However, the River Hawks responded with victories in the last two doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead into singles action.
• Senior Nicholas Meale (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) and freshman Emil Vyskocil (Cornwall-on-the-Hudson, N.Y./Cornwall) picked up an 8-4 triumph at No. 3 doubles to even up the match at 1-1.
• Seniors Ben Ornstein (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley) and Ryan Seibert (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) sent Susquehanna into singles play with a one-point lead with an 8-4 victory at second doubles.

 
Singles

• Meale (No. 4), Vyskocil (No. 3), and Seibert (No. 5) all won their matches in straight sets to give SU a 5-1 advantage and the match win with three matches to go.
• Connor Maloney gained the Vikings second point with a 2-6, 7-5, 10-6 victory at No. 1 singles.
• Ornstein then earned an exciting 6-4, 2-6, 14-12 triumph at No. 2 singles followed by senior Ashton Collins' (Biddeford, Maine/Biddeford) 7-5, 7-5 win at No. 6 singles.
