Selinsgrove, Pa. – The Susquehanna University women's tennis team halted their two-match skid Sunday afternoon with a 9-0 non-conference win over the College of Saint Elizabeth (0-1). This is Susquehanna's (5-3) second shutout victory of the season.
  
How It Happened
Doubles

• The River Hawks dropped only two games in sweeping all three doubles matches.
• Sophomores Hannah Maykut (Bethlehem, Pa.) and Christina Rudderow (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood) moved to 2-0 on the season with an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles.
• Seniors Abagail Ransom (Renovo, Pa.) and Cassey Fox (Pittsgrove, N.J./A.P. Schalick) notched their first win of the season with an 8-0 victory at No. 2 doubles.
• Sophomore Kallie Honstine (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) and freshman Virginia Macomber (Sebac, Maine) also blanked the Eagles, 8-0, at the third spot.

 
Singles

• Freshman Ashlynn Searer (Hummelstown, Pa.) improved to 10-1 on the season with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 1 singles.
• Senior Eliza Griffin (Pittsgrove, Pa.) tallied a double-love win at the second spot while junior Amy Jennings (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory at the third flight.
• Freshman Anna Ream (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) followed with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles while junior Isabella Ferrari (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) earned her third win of the season, 7-5, 6-1, at No. 5 singles.
• Sophomore Nicole Brintzenhoff (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) wrapped the River Hawks' victory with a 6-0, 6-0 win at the sixth spot.
