Selinsgrove, Pa. – Junior attackman
Preston Ouellette (Trumbull, Conn./St. Joseph) found the back of the net twice Saturday afternoon as the Susquehanna University men's lacrosse team battled its second nationally-ranked opponent of the season. Susquehanna (3-3) held its own a 12-4 non-conference loss to No. 6 York College of Pennsylvania (6-0).

How It Happened
- York notched the first two goals of the game for an opening 2-0 lead at 8:03. Senior attackman Jack Donnelly (Webster, N.Y./Webster Schroeder) would put the River Hawks on the board at four minutes later as Donnelly tallied a man-up goal off an assist from junior attackman Michael Hatala (Glen Cove, N.Y./Glen Cove). Hunter Davis got the Spartan lead back up to two 39 seconds later and YCP headed into the second quarter with a 3-1 advantage.
- It was all York in the second frame as the visitors unleashed six unanswered goals, including a pair each from Davis and Brendan McGrath, for a 9-1 halftime score.
- Susquehanna won the third stanza, 2-1, as senior midfielder Lou Pillari (Bayville, N.Y./Chaminade) and Ouellette back-to-back goals to trim the deficit to 9-3 with 7:19 remaining in the third. Brendan O'Sullivan scored his first of the season at 4:44 to send YCP into the final quarter up by seven.
- After the Spartans tacked on two more goals in just over two minutes, Ouellette struck for the second time in the game at 7:30 for the final goal of the game.

- Ouellette finished with a season-best two goals while seniors Dan Murphy (Sayville, N.Y./Sayville), Travis Yaga (Fairfax Station, Va./Lake Braddock), and Jack Gerrity (Scotch Plains-Fanwood, N.J./Scotch Plains-Fanwood) scooped up three ground balls a piece.
- Senior captain Dylan Abplanalp (Grasonville, Md./Kent Island) made five stops with one ground ball and one caused turnover in the first half before being relieved by sophomore Tyler Gross (Magnolia, Del./Caesar Rodney), who had six saves in 21:58 minutes of action. Junior Josh Weaver (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) finished out the game for SU.
- Davis paced the Spartans in the win with four goals and an assist while McGrath added a hat trick and two helpers. Billy Sasso was 10-of-14 at the X with four ground balls.
