Charlie Hayes (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) and first-year midfielder
Charles Braught (Leola, Pa./Conestoga Valley) all found the back of the net Wednesday afternoon as the Susquehanna University men's lacrosse team took on No. 15/19 Franklin & Marshall College in non-conference action. Susquehanna (0-4) dropped a 19-3 decision to the nationally-ranked Diplomats (1-1).

How It Happened
- F&M boasted a 16-0 lead with 12:41 remaining in the game as the Diplomats owned a 10-0 halftime advantage.
- Kevin Mollihan fired off seven goals to lead the visitors while Luke Keating had three scores and an assist. Blake Target also had a hand in four goals with a goal and three helpers.
- The River Hawks avoided a shutout loss when Ouellette finished off a pass from first-year midfielder Jake Turner (Oceanport, N.J./Shore Regional) to put SU on the board at 10:01.
- Susquehanna added another one four minutes later off the stick of Hayes as first-year midfielder Victor Simone (Belvidere, N.J./Notre Dame) assisted on the play.
- Franklin & Marshall tacked on another before Braught scored his second collegiate goal at 4:03 off a pass from first-year midfielder Rob Swenson (East Lyme, Conn./East Lyme).
- The Diplomats notched the final two goals of the game in a nine-second span for the 19-3 final.

- Ouellette is now second for SU with four goals and third with five points while Hayes and Swenson both notched first collegiate points today.
- Senior captain Jacob Fox (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) collected three caused turnovers and two ground balls to lead the defense.
- Senior Josh Weaver (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) started and played the entire first half, making 11 saves with two ground balls and a caused turnover while junior captain Tyler Gross (Magnolia, Del./Caesar Rodney) started and played the final 30 minutes with 13 stops and one ground ball.
- Mollihan had himself a day with game-bests of seven goals and five ground balls for F&M's first win of the season.
