MADISON, NJ - Susquehanna women's soccer finished their season at Drew with a 1-0 defeat in the Landmark Conference Tournament first round on Wednesday. A goal for Drew in the 14th minute sealed the River Hawks' fate, as they finished the season at a 4-9-5 clip.
The River Hawks outshot the Rangers 9-8 over the 90 minutes, with 5 of their shots on target to Drew's 2, but they were unable to make their chances count.

Emily Wertz and senior
Maggie Morrison led the River Hawks with three shots, two of which were on target for both players.
Delaney Morton,
Gillian Maack, and
Marley Sprenkel all each had a shot, with Morton's being saved by the Drew goalkeeper.
Kayleigh Saboja made one save on the night from the two shots on target she faced.
It was a record-breaking season for Wertz, who established herself as the program's all-time highest assister, leading the team with five on the campaign. She also led the team with six goals, matching her tally from a year ago.
The River Hawks will say goodbye to their ten seniors and two graduate students, as they look to improve on their 4-9-5 record (2-3-4 in the Landmark Conference) from this season that placed them sixth in the Landmark Conference regular season.
