SCRANTON, PA – Kyle Wagner closed out his career with a five-singles win Saturday, which resulted in the Susquehanna men's tennis team's last victory of their season in an 8-1 defeat at King's. Wagner took down Aidan Temple by 6-3 and 6-2 scores.
The closest doubles match came in three doubles, where
Thomas Hallahan and
Gavin Ream dropped a tight match against Nick Harth and Brendan Turowski by an 8-6 score.
Joshua Sanderson engaged in a close one singles match with Logan Gregory, just missing a tough-fought first set by a 7-5 score and Gregory nabbing a 6-3 second set to take the win. After a 6-3 first-set defeat,
John Duncan played Patrick Pech close in the second frame of three singles, with Pech edging out a 7-5 win.
The River Hawks conclude their 2022-23 season with a 6-8 overall record and 2-5 Landmark record.
