Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA – Friday night Susquehanna volleyball opened its stay at the Carnegie Mellon Tournament Friday night against the host Tartans. CMU took the match in three sets by way of 25-14, 25-15, and 25-16 scores. Senior setter
Keira Roach led the team with nine assists, putting her two away from the 2,000 career assist milestone at 1,998, along with charting one kill and three digs.
The River Hawks totaled 17 kills to go with 15 assists, one service ace and seven total blocks.
Emily Kowalski and
Ryan Rorls led the team with five kills apiece, with Kowalski adding one assist, five digs, and two block assists. Rorls represented the team's service ace, while contributing three digs and one block assist.
Amanda Gore added six total blocks to led SU, while pulling in two kills, one assist, two digs, and one solo block with five block assists.
Emma Willow netted two kills with one block assist, while
Delaney McCoy was second on the team with three assists.
Jessica Sack and
Stella Robinson each had one kill to round out the count in that category, with Sack leading the team with 13 digs and Robinson ranking second on the squad with three block assists.
Susquehanna moves on to day two of the CMU Quad Saturday, beginning with Mount Union at 1 p.m., followed by Ohio Wesleyan at 3 p.m.
