SELINSGROVE, PA - Kaden Watts has been announced as Susquehanna University's new athletics equipment room manager. He arrives in Selinsgrove after serving as equipment manager at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio, where he played football before earning his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
"Kaden brings a team-first mindset and attitude, strong organizational skills, and the student-centered approach we value at Susquehanna," related Director of Athletics
Sharief Hashim. "His experience as a student-athlete and equipment professional will immediately enhance our support for River Hawk programs and elevate the day-to-day experience for our student-athletes and coaches. We're thrilled to welcome him to Selinsgrove."
Watts originally began his college career at California University of Pa., serving as the team's long snapper in 2018 and 2019. After two seasons, the native of Zanesville, Ohio transferred closer to home at Ohio Dominican, where he suited up for the Panthers from 2020 to 2023. A multiple-time All-Academic recipient between both institutions, Watts completed his Bachelor's in Sports Management at ODU in May of 2022 before finishing his Master's of Business Administration two years later. After playing his last snap of college football, Watts served as equipment manager for ODU, as well as the facility operations assistant at Resolute Athletics Complex in Columbis, Ohio from 2022 to 2024. Last academic year Watts was a physical education teacher at Eastland Preparatory Academy.
