SCRANTON, PA - Susquehanna men's swimming jumped back into action against the University of Scranton Saturday afternoon, where the Royals defeated the River Hawks ahead of SU's final home match up of the season next Saturday.

How it Happened:

• Kaden TenEyck, Joey Wayne, Dan Venuti and Doug Bell started the day off for SU, taking third place in the 200 yard medley relay, posting a time of 1:40.01.
• TenEyck continued to showcase, claiming first place in the 100 yard backstroke, posting a time of 55.64.
• Tim Wetmore edged out the Royals to take second place in the 200 yard butterfly. Wetmore showcased a time of 2:09.87.
• Eskander Bierman added his name to the leaderbaords, taking first place in the 50 yard free style. Bierman posted a time of 22.58.
• Bierman took third place in the 100 yard freestyle, followed by fourth place coming from David Gentile, and fifth place coming from Doug Bell.
• Dan Venuti took third place in the 200 yard backstroke, showing a time of 2:05.91.
• Venuti continued to dominate, taking second place in the 100 yard butterfly. Venuti finished with a time of 55.57.
• Joey Wayne, Kaden TenEyck, David Gentile, and Eskander Bierman finished in second place in the 400 yard freestyle relay. The team posted a time of 3:20.23.

• Susquehanna returns to Selinsgrove one last time this season, as the team hosts Bloomsburg University on Saturday, January 24. The River Hawks senior day festivities are scheduled before the team attempts to take down the Huskies. 
• Susquehanna wraps up the regular season on January 31 in a tri-meet matchup against Moravian University and Lycoming College.
