Bryson Wood Honored on Men's Swim Senior Day vs. Bloomsburg

SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna men's swimming and diving held senior day for senior Bryson Wood as the River Hawks celebrated a festive Saturday afternoon hosting Bloomsburg.

How it Happened:

With his family on hand, Wood celebrated his day competing in the 200-yard medley relay to start the meet off with teammates Joey Wayne, Kenny Smith and David Gentile. Wood competed in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing with a time of 1:05.33.
Kaden TenEyck, Akira Black, Dan Venuti, and Eskander Bierman started things off for the River Hawks, taking third place in the 200 yard medley relay, showing a time of 1:40.12.
Tim Wetmore added his name to the silver medal finishes, taking second place in the 500 yard freestyle. Wetmore finished the race 5:07.48.
Dan Venuti and Doug Bell took third and fourth place respectively in the 200 yard IM. Venuti finished the afternoon with a time of 2:00.47, with Bell following behind with a time of 2:09.13.
Bell continued to dominate, taking third in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 55.98.
The first, first place finish for the River Hawks belonged to Dan Venuti, edging out the win in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 50.58.
TenEyck claimed second place in the 100 yard backstroke, posting a time of 55.62.

Up Next for the River Hawks:

Susquehanna heads into the final tri-match of the regular season at Moravian University. The River Hawks take on the Landmark foes Greyhounds and the Warriors of Lycoming College from Bethlehem on January 31.
The Landmark Conference Championships are slated to follow next, with SU heading out to Loyola University in Baltimore, Md. for the championships that runs from Feb. 12-15.
