ROME, N.Y. — The Susquehanna University women's golf team closed out a record-setting weekend at the Hamilton Invitational on Sunday, finishing tied for third with Babson after posting a program-record team score of 304 in the final round, led by
Kennedy Petrovich's 69 to break her own individual school scoring record.
Coupled with their 315 team score on day one Saturday, the River Hawks finished the two-day tournament with a 619, marking a strong showing against a competitive field at Rome Country Club.
How It Went Down
- Susquehanna entered Sunday's final round in fourth place after carding a 315 (+27) on Saturday. Cailyn Schall led the individual field after the opening round, firing an even-par 72 to sit atop the leaderboard through 18 holes.
- The River Hawks then put together their best round of the weekend on Sunday, shooting a program-record 304 (+16) to move into a tie for third place.
- Kennedy Petrovich led Susquehanna's record-setting final round, firing a 3-under-par 69 to establish a new program record for the lowest 18-hole score in River Hawks women's golf history.
- Schall also helped pace the River Hawks throughout the weekend after her even-par opening round put her at the top of the leaderboard heading into Sunday.
