SELINSGROVE, PA - Saturday's offensive stat line was enough of an indication to say that Susquehanna football's offensive line did their job in the River Hawks' 41-14 win at Bridgewater on Saturday. But Tuesday morning's news that they were chosen for D3football.com's Team of the Week helped erase any trace of doubt with their performance. 

Saturday's starting O-Line entailed Aidan Kelly, Liam Kelly, Josh Hill, Matt Liggio, and Connor Main. As a team, Susquehanna piled up 463 yards of total offense, including 255 rushing yards and 208 through the air in a 41-14 win at Bridgewater. The River Hawks held a 25-13 advantage in first downs and controlled the ball for 33:29. It took just the first offensive play for the River Hawks to take control of the game as running back Matt Surtz scored the first of his three touchdowns on the ground with a 47-yard scoring run, showing great patience to let his line create some openings that he took up the left side and into the secondary. Quarterback Tommy Wright found similar success through the air with three touchdown passes as a clean pocket helped him deliver scoring strikes to Carter McCauley, Frankie Mroz and Noah Confer. 

Susquehanna, now 2-0, is back on the road this Saturday with a much-anticipated matchup at Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m. This will be their third meeting with the Blue Jays in two years, having met JHU both in the regular season and the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2025. Johns Hopkins won both matchups, but enter Saturday at 1-1 following a defeat to Randolph Macon this past Saturday.
