 2024-25 (Indoor): Heptathlon (3,900 AARTFC Qualifying Mark): Competed in two heptathlons this winter, starting with the SU Early Season Multi Dec. 13-14... totaled 4,030 points after setting the fourth-best mark in the high jump at 1.82m and sixth-best in the shot put at 10.14m, as well as running 7.40 in the 60 meters for seventh-best and pole vaulting 3.10m for eighth-best and 9.25 in the 60 hurdles for ninth-best... totaled a new PR 4,375 points at Ithaca Feb. 1-2, setting a new PR in the shot put at 10.78m for fourth-best in the event, as well as jumping 1.85m in the high jump for second best and 6.16m in the long jump for fourth-best... earned three podium placements at the Landmark Championships, placing fourth in the high jump at 1.82m, fifth in the 60 hurdles at 8.71, and eighth in the long jump at 6.18m. 

Indoor
2023-24: (Heptathlon) Posted 4247 points at Ithaca Bomber Invite Feb 3-4 for sixth best mark in school history, while earning a PR in the shot put at 10.30m... hit 3761 points at SU Early Season Multi on Dec. 8-9, setting PRs in the 60 meters (7.38), long jump (6.20m), high jump (1.90m), pole vault (3.30m), and 1,000 meters (3:02.80)...

PRIOR TO SU: Rowan was a three-sport athlete at East Juniata High School in which he played basketball (3 letters), soccer (4 letters), and track (4 letters)... He was co-captain for all three sports his Senior year... He was named most outstanding male athlete his senior year... PIAA District 4 Overall Male Athlete 2022... Track and Field, PIAA District 4 300H Runner Up his Junior Year, PIAA District 4 300H Runner Up his Senior year... Track and Field PIAA State Championships 300H 8th place his Senior Year. 

PERSONAL: Son of Andrew and Lauren Smith... Has 7 siblings... Andrew (17), Wrett (14), Haven (12), Shea (8), Rory (6), Thatcher (4), Liam (4 mo)... Chose SU because: "I really like the campus and facilities, they really appealed to me and the major I want to pursue. They also have an amazing Track and Field program which I was really looking for as well."
