Troy Allen, a baseball fixture in central Pennsylvania, joins Denny Bowers' baseball coaching staff for the 2024-25 year as Pitching Coach. 

Allen brings more than 20 years of experience as a pitching coach to the staff. The program director of Flood City Elite – North and owner of the Own the Plate Baseball Academy in State College, Allen has developed more than 50 college pitchers, including three who played professionally. He also formerly served as the varsity head coach at State College High School and coached for the DeMarini Stars.

Allen played collegiate baseball at George Washington University and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 1997, spending multiple years in the organization.
