Thomas Haughey joined the Susquehanna University men's football staff in the spring of 2022, returning to his alma mater. Haughey comes to SU after serving as an assistant at Ohio Dominican University, coaching the tight ends for the Columbus, OH school. His primary positions are tight ends and running backs.

Haughey has previous stints at Castleton University (NCAA Division III), Imhotep Charter School, Archbishop Ryan High School, and Our Lady of Calvary.

As a previous Defensive Line Coach at Castleton University, he held positions as Video Coordinator and Graphic Designer for recruiting. While at Imhotep, he held positions as Varsity Offensive Line Coach and Junior Varsity Offensive Coordinator.

Haughey finished his B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Susquehanna where he played football from 2014-2017. Haughey received honorable mention All-Conference in 2018.
