Ryan Felty is in his fifth season as the head coach of Men's Golf at Susquehanna University in 2022-23. Felty was hired at the end of July in 2018.
In his first season, the River Hawks finished fourth at the 2019 Landmark Conference Championships while Felty coached a pair of All-Landmark selections in Chris Bouchard '21 and Andrew Galletta '22. Bouchard earned First Team honors with a sixth-place finish while Galletta picked up a Second Team award after tying for ninth place.
The following season, the COVID-19 pandemic caused the cancellation of the 2020 spring season and the 2020 Landmark Champion was determined by the results from the 2019 Landmark Fall Preview, which took place October 5. Susquehanna claimed a fifth-place finish with Galletta leading the way as he tied for 15th place.
Felty coached the team to a third place finish at the Landmark Championship in 2021, best in program history. Devin Peart was named to the Landmark All-conference team.
Prior to Susquehanna, Felty was a veteran high school coach, leading the boys' golf teams at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional H.S. in Coal Township and Selinsgrove Area H.S. (2001-03). He also coached at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona for three seasons (2003-06).
The Selinsgrove, Pa., native spent his collegiate golfing career at Florida State University. After graduating from Florida State, he competed for eight years on several golf mini tours while residing in Scottsdale.
A procurement manager at Great Coasters International in Sunbury, Felty resides in Selinsgrove and has one daughter, Francesca.
Felty earned his Bachelor of sports management from Florida State University in 2000.
