Augusto Lima joined the Susquehanna University Men’s Soccer coaching staff at the start of the 2017 season.
Before joining the staff, Lima spent time in San Bernardino, CA, playing for the Southern California Sports Club in the NPSL Southwest Conference from January to May of 2017. During this experience, Lima was able to play on a team with former US and other national youth, nationally known players, and former MLS and USL players.
Prior to his coaching career, Lima graduated from Susquehanna University in the spring of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an emphasis in Global Management.
During his time as a student at Susquehanna, Lima played four years on the Men’s soccer team. A two-time Landmark Conference champion and NCAA Tournament participant in 2012 and 2013, Lima ranks third in program history in goals against average, and fourth in shutouts and wins. He was named captain in his senior season.
A native of Brazil, Lima resides in Selinsgrove.
