Susquehanna University Athletics

Josh Powell begins his eighth season as the Susquehanna men’s and women’s diving coach in 2022-23. Powell started the three-meter diving program at Susquehanna in 2015-16.

He led the women's divers to new heights with school records by Krista White on both the one- and three-meter boards for both six and 11-dive scores. In 2021-22, SU had a pair of medalists in diving as Julia Roman was a individual champion in the 1-meter while Caleb Leaman was a runner-up in both heights. 

He came to Susquehanna after coaching age-group diving and serving as a coach at Lewisburg H.S. During his time at Lewisburg, Powell coached district champions and state qualifiers.

Powell helps facilitate diving programs throughout the state of Pennsylvania during the summer.

Has a B.F.A. in Art  from Penn State (2006).
