Rachel Drosdick-Sigafoos was announced as Susquehanna University's Swimming and Diving Interim Head Coach in September 2023. Returning to Susquehanna after a prior eight-year tenure as an assistant coach for Track & Field and Swimming & Diving, she'll take the helm of the men's and women's swimming & diving programs as they prepare for the 2023-24 campaign following fourth place finishes for both groups in the Landmark Championships last season.

"I'm thrilled to return to Susquehanna and honored to be part of the legacy of SU Swimming and Diving as interim head coach," said Drosdick-Sigafoos. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to build into our scholar-athletes' experiences and pursuits of excellence as students, future professionals, community members, and athletes. It's been great to reconnect with coaches I knew from my past tenure at SU and getting to know new faces."

Beyond her work at SU, Drosdick-Sigafoos also spent seven years as an associate head coach at the Sunbury YMCA, coaching the National Team and helming the 2012 women's team that placed sixth at the YMCA Short-Course Nationals.

Also active in mental health work, she has worked in the Children's Service Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA, along with work with the Veteran's Crisis Line through the Department of Veterans Affairs. She has also had her research on various topics in mental health and social work published and has lectured at a variety of institutions and conferences.

Drosdick-Sigafoos earned her bachelor's in French and Secondary Education from Muhlenberg College, also compiling a highly decorated Track & Field career. She has earned Masters degrees from New England College and Walden University and completed her Ph.D. at Walden University in 2022.
