Brianna Burger was hired as an assistant coach for the Susquehanna softball program at the end of June 2020. Burger comes to Susquehanna following a solid career with the Alderson Broaddus University softball program in Philippi, West Virginia.

She was a four-year starter and three-year captain for the Battlers as a pitcher and first baseman. The Grand Prairie, Texas, native was hitting .364 before her fifth-year at Alderson Broaddus was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. An elementary education major, Burger was named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference Team five times.

Burger conducted private hitting and pitching lessons to girls ranging from 6-18 years old and has helped coach 8u, 10u, and 12u girls' softball teams for six years.
 
While pursuing her master's degree in education at Alderson Broaddus in 2019-20, she served as a substitute teacher for the Barbour County School District.
